The first Arctic Cat ATVs were unveiled as part of the 1996 model year. That’s closing in on 25 years of production, which is impressive, but it’s just a drop in the bucket compared to Arctic Cat’s snowmobile history, which dates back to 1960.
Those 1996 Arctic Cat ATVs stuck around in their same basic form for about eight years as the brand continued to gain a foothold in the off-road world.
Never one to shy away from power, Arctic Cat set a new industry benchmark when it debuted the Thundercat in 2007. This machine was outfitted with a 950cc V-Twin engine, which was the biggest ever put into an ATV at the time.
Arctic Cat ATVs have boasted a number of other industry firsts, including the introduction of the Mud Pro in the 2009 model year. This was the first stock ATV to come from the factory with air snorkels installed designed for mud riding.
Today Arctic Cat offers a varied lineup of Utility ATVs, Sport UTVs and Utility UTVs. Below we will take a look at all Arctic Cat ATVs and UTVs currently available.
